Dance Festival

So Last week there was this dance festival right. It was amazing! To see all of the youth there, and to see the audience. All three performances were so inspirational! It was like an adrenaline rush every time the youth ran out for the Do Re Me performance! The speakers were amazing, there was Sister Cook, member of the First Presidency of the YW Program, and our area Quorum of the Seventy. And a couple of leaders who had previously participated in a Dance Festival. This was an amazing trip! I had the coolest host family too :) It was like we get to their house and they were so loving and pretty funny too! Well I will post later :) Skunk Attack! Again... Second time in the last 2 weeks!!! GRR!! They are cute but deadly!! Stupid creatures!

Past couple of months in a Nutshell

Well the past couple of months have been very interesting! I have finally reached the point where I can drive by myself, I have my lisence! After months of torture it was worth it! Only a month after I have my lisence I have witnessed/been a part of 2 collisions. Thankfully nobody was hurt (badly) in either case but there were cars that had a bit of pain...

Tennis has been tons of fun! I finally found something that I am good at, not amazing but good. I love to play singles but doubles is fun! Especially when I play front and am able to spike it over and the opposing team is unable to get the ball :) Everything about the sport is great, even though you have the certain occasions that you do get hit. Painful, but still fun! It has been a great season!

All of the classes of High School are going great, except that dreadful Math class, I do not think there is a day that I can honestly say that I have enjoyed that class except the days that Mr. Minor was there and we watched a movie about a math/physics teacher... Even then it was pretty lame. Parenting is a Great class... Definitely learn a ton! Along with the experience of taking home a synthetic baby! Now doesn't that seem like a joy? To my suprise it was not that bad, the second night. Although the first and third I wanted to litterally drown the thing! It wouldn't have solved anything though, the baby probably would have started to cry then electrocute somebody (me) and kill them or something.

This last month has been crazy what with Tennis matches and practice, Dance Festival Practices, Boys, Teachers, and being Sick...

Lemme tell you If I ever go to the ER again I hope there is not another needle involved! Although the IV that was inserted painfully into my arm chilled my body it helped rejuvinate it and put liquids into my system again. It was a long and kind of painful process that took about 6 hours. And in those beds it seems like days! No wonder patients want to go home to recover :)

Now to the Dance Festival of 2010! I am so excited about this event! It will be huge event with tons of teenagers (about 2,500 or more)!! I am excited to dance the Waltz and the Disco! http://dancefestival2010.com/index.php

Me New and Improved!!

Va-Ca-tion!

So our family took the coolest vacation ever! So far anyways. Well, we got to go see my grandma for the first time in like 3 years! It was sooo nice to see her and be able to chat and just hang with her! A couple days into the vacation my wonderful sister decided to come and take me away to college for a couple of days! It was great, I gotta see where she works, where she lives, what wonderful food she eats! Just the whole experience was great!

We also got to see the fireworks on the snake river! They were amazing! I think that that was the best firework show that I have ever been to! It was just everything I hoped for! After that we got to spend some time with the family! The WHOLE family! It was great, and it was loads of fun too!!

We took a trip to Yellow Stone National Park. That was the best experience during the whole trip! Even though I didn't get to see a bear I gotta see a couppla really really ugly bison. They were crossing right in front of us! It was so cool, I really would have hated to get out of the car though!

We also got to see a TON of Geisers! They were so cool. I got to see Old Faithful and a whole bunch of other geisers! and some pretty cool signs! They were sooo neat! The sights and just everything were so fantastic and just so cool! I loved being able to see a thunderstorm while I was there! That and the clouds and the scenery were just so pretty and It was awesome!

Going to DC babay!

This girl went to a Leadership camp, and had tons of fun! She got to meet new people, have great food (fast food the best kind!), and be able to gain some great skizzels! Well the first day was great, she got up and was ready and on time. She had a great day! There was a ton of good speakers, and lots of people to call 'family' for the three days! The second day was not as good, the speakers were a bit boring, and it was really hot! This girl was still having a great time though! The third day was the best day! She found out that she had a chance to go to Washington DC! And all she had to do was write a 2 page paper. Piece of cake right. Well that girl wrote her paper and is going to Washington DC. This sunday! She is sooo excited and cannot wait for this trip! This girl is me. I am going to Washington DC! and I couldn't be more excited! It is a long way away from home though! And it is going to be really humid, but so much fun! I get to have dinner on a boat, and I get to go to Hard Rock Cafe, I get to see Mount Vernon. This trip is going to be so fantastic!

Life....

Okay so if you all thought 9th grade was easy well then for me it hasnt't been... It is like All I can think about is how in the world I am ever going to get through every day and how boring Mr.Patzer is... But that is another story for another time... I will be sitting in class listening to the teacher then a thought pops right into my head and it is like, Oh I wonder what is for lunch today, or like, I really want pizza right now, but I think about the most random things and lose track of what the teacher is saying then I hear my name out of nowhere and I am dragged out of my lala land and forced to answer a question... I think when I say that my brain can multitask I really mean : well yeah my brain can multitask but You know I really think that I can only think about one thing at a time if and only if you want that subject or whatever really truly thought about and you really want a good answer...

That and I am the President, I thought I was going to have fun but, oh no I am the guinee pig, we have a wonderful leadership class that was just brought in this year oh yeah That class is SOOO much fun... But we really do have fun sometimes, like the days where MRS. Plum brought a 7 layer nacho dip and chips and vegetables and things like that, she spent 2 whole hours cooking for US... I felt so loved!! and full....


I guess 9th grade isnt that bad... I mean there are cute guys and all....
